It's my pleasure to announce that after a strenuous black belt test, William Mioch has been promoted to 1st Dan Black Belt in Karate under our organisation. For his trip over, he took part in Wu Wei Dao's Taijiquan seminar on 3rd Feb at 5:30am and saw a Capoeira demo in the city in the evening. The grading was held in the morning of the 4th, after which time we had Terrence Bridgeman, a French Savate instructor come to give us a seminar on Savate. His grading continued in the evening with Sifu Vincent Cordeiro coming in to grade part of his Chinese forms, and to also give us a short seminar. Congratulations! www.hikarudojo.com/martialart.htmlColin

Thanks Colin. Again, I must thank Colin for his amazing generousity in offering a helping hand when he did not have to. Colin's efforts in facilitating my grading have been an inspiration, and the "extras" he has provided along the way (in the form of virtually one-on-one session with some very respected martial arts instructors) have given me ideas and paths to explore that I did not previously know were there.
Black belt is indeed only the beginning.
Bill Mioch.
